EN| The starting point is very easy to find. It is just the end of the boardwalk of Roquetas de Mar. If you come by car, you can park in the street or enter into the nature reserve and leave your car there (entry Calle Cóndor/Av. de Cerillos). On the whole trip there is no stop for refreshment and meal neither shadow. Most of the time we are going on a rural road. You don`t need a mountain bike but good tires are recommended. Although this tour seems short take your time. You can make awesome photos.
ES| El punto de partida se encuentra justo al final del paséo marítimo de Roquetas de Mar. Si te vas en coche puedes apacarlo en la calle o entra en el parque natural y dejalo aqui (entrada Calle Cóndor/Av. de Cerillos). Durante todo el recorrido no hay ninguna possibilidad de comprar un refresco o comida ni sombra. Casi todo el viaje va sobre un camino rural. No necesitas una bicicleta de montaña pero buenas ruedas son recomendable. Aunque el recorrido sea corto tómate un poquito tiempo no solamente para sacar fotos.
DE| Der Startpunkt ist ganz einfach zu finden. Es ist das Ende von der Strandpromenade von Roquetas de Mar. Wenn Du mit dem Auto anfährst, dann kannst Du es in auf der Straße parken oder Du fährst in den Naturpark hinein und läßt es dort stehen (Einfahrt Calle Cóndor/Av. de Cerillos). Auf der gesamten Strecke gibt es keinen Halt, um Essen oder Trinken zu kaufen und auch keinen Schatten. Der Weg führt fast die ganze Zeit über Feldwege. Du benötigst kein Mountain Bike, aber gute Reifen sind empfehlenswert. Auch wenn die Tour kurz ist, nimm Dir etwas Zeit. Du kannst wunderbare Fotos machen.

STAGE 01 | ETAPA 01
Roquetas de Mar > Torre Cerrillos (3 km)
EN| At the endpoint of the boardwalk (A) we go straight forward on the rural road always parallel to the sea. From far we already can spot the old tower Torre de Cerrillos (C) and keep on it. The sea is very close so we can stop at any time for a bath (B). Once arrived we can have a break and enjoy the amazing view.
ES| Desde el final del paseo marítimo (A) vamos todo seguido en el camino rural siempre al lado del mar. Ya desde lejos podemos divisar el Torre de Cerillos (C) y seguimos siempre en dirección a ese. El mar está muy cerca así que podemos parar en cada momento para bañarnos (B). Una vez llegado podemos hacer una pausa y disfrutar de la bella vista.
DE| Vom Ende der Strandpromenade (A) folgen wir geradeaus der Sandstraße immer dem Meer entlang. Schon von weitem können wir den Turm Torre de Cerrillos (C) erkennen und halten darauf zu. Das Meer ist auch nicht weit, so daß wir jederzeit zum Schwimmen anhalten können (B). Einmal angekommen, können wir eine kleine Pause machen und den schönen Ort genießen.
STAGE 02 | ETAPA 02
Torre de Cerrillos > Salinas de Cerrillos (2 km)
EN| From the tower (A) we follow the rural road in direction of the mountains till the end (B). Here we turn left and go straight on till the saline lake (C). Here most of the time we can see wild flamingos.
ES| Desde el Torre de Cerillos (A) seguimos el camino rural en dirección de montañas hasta su final (B). Aquí giramos a la izquierda y vamos siempre adelante hasta las salinas de Cerillos (C). Aquí muchas veces encontramos a los flamencos salvajes.
DE| Vom Torre de Cerrillos (A) folgen wir der Sandstraße immer geradeaus in Richtung Berge. Am Ende (B) biegen wir nach links und fahren immer geradeaus bis zu den ehemaligen Salinen (kleine Seen) (C). Hier können fast immer wilde Flamingos sehen.
STAGE 03 | ETAPA 03
Salinas de Cerrillos > Boardwalk Roquetas de mar (5 km)
EN| From the saline lake (A) we go back the same rural road as before in direction to Roquetas de Mar which you can see from far. We follow the way always straight on and then turn left surrounding the old salines. At the end we are at the official entry of the nature reserve (B) with some information signs. By turning right we will come back to our starting point (C) at Playa Los Alemanes.
ES| Desde las salinas de Cerillos (A) volvemos el camino rural en dirección a Roquetas de Mar que podemos ver desde lejos. Seguimos el camino siempre adelante, después cogemos a la izquierda rodeando las salinas antiguas. A su final estámos en la entrada oficial del parque natural Punta Entinas-Sabinar (B) con unos carteles informativos. Si giramos a la derecha llegamos a nuestro punto de salida (C) en la Playa Los Alemanes.
DE| Von den Salinen Cerrillos (A) kehren wir auf der Sandstraße zurück in Richtung Roquetas de Mar, das man schon von weitem sehen kann. Wir folgen dem Weg immer geradeaus und biegen dann links immer den alten Salinen entlang. Am Ende befinden wir uns an der offiziellen Einfahrt in den Naturpark Punta Entinas-Sabinar (B) mit einigen Informationstafeln. Wenn wir uns jetzt rechts halten, kommen wir zurück zu unserem Ausgangspunkt am Strand Playa Los Alemanes.
GOOD TO KNOW: TORRE DE CERRILLOS
EN| Due to the danger of pirates at the coast of Almería the first watch tower Torre de Cerrillos was built among others by Yusuf I in the XIV. century. It was rebuilt at the end of the XVI. century by Felipe II to keep on protecting the seaside. Today we can only see the solid base. Once there had been an upper part with a habitacion for the guardians which could be reached with a ladder. Since 1993 the tower is part of the monument conservation (Bien de Interés Cultural).
ES| Por la piratería en esta costa almeriense el primer Torre de Cerrillos fue edificado en el siglo XIV por Yusuf I junto con una serie de otras. Fue reconstruido al finales del siglo XVI por Felipe II como proteción de los piratas berberiscos. Hoy en día podemos solamente ver la base maciza. Antiguamente había un parte superior como estancia para el guarda a la que se podía subir con escala. Desde 1993 el torre está catalogada como Bien de Interés Cultural.
DE| Aufgrund der Piraterie an der Küste wurde der erste Turm Torre de Cerrillos von Yusuf I im XIV. Jahrhundert mit einer Reihe anderer errichtet. Er wurde noch einmal erneuert von Felipe II am Ende des XVI. Jahrhundert zum Schutz der Meeresküste. Heute steht nur noch der massive untere Teil. Darüber befand sich früher einmal ein Aufenthaltsraum für den Wachposten, der über eine Leiter erreicht wurde. Seit 1993 steht der Turm unter Denkmalschutz (Bien de Interés Cultural).
